Progress continues to be slow but steady. For the month of June, the bulk of the work went to character generation and the game intro. Preparations are underway for testing the new client and server outside of my own local network. This will undoubtedly expose problems, but should nevertheless help me get the new version somewhere close to the amazingly solid stability of the previous version. With any luck, there could be a beta release just around the corner.
